Acicta cares a lot about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and Acicta's services made available on it. The effective date for the validity of these terms and conditions is 30/12/2023, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires. Online store software

Joomla

Our webshop is developed with software from Joomla. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of providing our services will be shared with this party. Joomla has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Joomla is obliged, on the basis of the agreement we have entered into with them, to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Webador uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored.

Joomla reserves the right to share collected data within its own group of companies in order to further improve its services.

 

Web hosting

One.com

We use the services of One.com for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. One.com does not have access to our inbox, and we treat all of our email traffic confidentially.

 

Payment processors

Mollie

To handle (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the Mollie platform. Mollie processes your name, address and place of residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share (anonymised) data with third parties in this context. All the above-mentioned guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie's services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not store your data any longer than is permitted by law.

 

Reviews Shipping & Logistics

PostNL

When you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary for us to share your name, address and place of residence with PostNL. PostNL will only use this data for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.

 

DHL

When you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to carry out the deliveries. Exact

We use the services of Exact to keep track of our administration and bookkeeping. We share your name, address and residence details and details relating to your order.

This data is used to administer sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely. Exact is obliged to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Exact does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Retention periods
